Follow the four steps below to ensure your school district, Pepper, and TIPS have the necessary information to properly place and track your order using the TIPS purchasing cooperative:

 

1. First, check that your school district is a current member of TIPS (The Interlocal Purchasing System). You'll find the list at: https://www.tips-usa.com/index.cfm

 

2. Request a quote from Pepper by phone or email at 800-345-6296 or orders@jwpepper.com. It's important to mention you are requesting a TIPS quote and reference Pepper's current contract number: TIPS 250802. The quote number and the TIPS number are both important in tracking your order through three different systems. 

 

3. After you get your quote from Pepper, create a purchase order with your district, clearly referencing both the Pepper quote number and Pepper's TIPS contract number (TIPS 250802) on your paperwork. 


4. Send your order to TIPS by email to TIPSPO@TIPS-USA.COM

- Attach both the PO and quote as PDF attachments

Check that Pepper's TIPS contract number (TIPS 250802) is on both the PO and the quote. 

- Send only one PO/quote per email. 

TIPS will send your order to Pepper for processing. Do not send your order to Pepper.

 

Following these steps will make sure that all parties - your district, TIPS, and Pepper can quickly and accurately process and track your order.
